Hope Over Hurt is having our inaugural “Legacy Makers'' Golf Tournament at Quail Valley El Dorado Golf Course, September 11, 2023. This fundraiser will help Hope Over Hurt continue our direct community engagement mission to serve, outreach and empower our communities and, in addition, we are taking our fundraiser to provide a Legacy Maker Scholarship for a need-identified student graduating as the Class of 2024.
I am excited and hoping to have you as a part of our time this year. Hope Over Hurt is a federally recognized non-profit 501 (c) 3 that is 95% donation based. We believe in actively giving and serving our communities through Service, Outreach and Empowerment. While sharing our love and commitment through acts of faith and service; together, we serve the hungry, transitional populations, and at-risk communities by way of impactful empowerment resources. We also serve as an advocate for our children to our adopted school, Helen Major Elementary. While we are only 6 years in existence, HOH has been recognized by the city of Houston, state representatives of Texas and by members of Congress. Love is the key, and it is what drives us. We are grateful for your heart to give and live a philanthropic life.
Our goal is to have 10 team captains for teams of four.
